10:30 am – Noon
Next to MetroPCS and Maguffy's, in the Cornell Square plaza with Burgerville.
Just across NE 25th Ave from the Hillsboro airport.
We study the traditional Okinawan art of Isshinryu Karate. It consists of simple blocks, punches, and kicks.
Most of our practice is individual, but we often work in unison with others. We never use hard contact.
Our training improves awareness, endurance, flexibility, strength, speed, self-control, and self-discipline.
At the core of Isshinryu Karate are the kata: patterns of attacks and defenses against multiple attackers. These forms have been passed down from teacher to student over centuries.
Beginners, ages 6 through adults, are welcome to join us at any time!
No prior martial arts experience is necessary. If you're not already in shape, don't worry, we'll get you there.
Your first three classes are free of charge, so you can see how good a fit it is for you!
